Although our checkout system is set for U.K. currency,we welcome international buyers in Western European countries.Please note that due to high postage fees,we no longer ship to U.S.A.,Canada and Australia.

For international sales please follow the following steps:

Please note that most postage charges to Western European countries cost little or no more than within the U.K.
We will send you a shipping quote by email.
If you still wish to order,we will invoice you via PayPal.Once we have received payment,your order will be shipped to you.NOTE:If you are outside the U.K. and do not ask for a shipping quote directly from us,we will invoice you for any extra shipping fees to your country.Failure to pay for extra shipping will result in your total order being cancelled.

DELIVERY

We mail Tuesday through Saturday
Most orders are mailed with Royal Mail or Parcel Force.
International orders are mailed via international airmail shippers.
We aim to ship orders within 48 hours of receipt.However this can take up to 7 days during busy periods.Please allow 7-14 days for handcrafted items.

IMPORTANT-NEW POSTAGE CHARGES-PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

Due to the rise in postage fees and packaging costs,we are no longer able to offer free P+P.We charge £1.50 per order for packaging fees.Any overcharge is reimbursed to your PayPal account.If paying by cheque,please email or telephone us first for a correct postage fee.Please note that this refund may not be immediately after your order is shipped but it will be done.
Fees for postage and packaging and handling charges are set at 20% of the total order.This is due to an increase in postage fees,plus packing supplies and stationery.Boxes,bubble wrap and packaging used to transport your order safely cost us money.Any overcharge is reimbursed to your PayPal account.If paying by cheque,please email or telephone us first for a correct postage fee
Please note,we always post our goods recorded delivery(UK only).This will require a signature upon receipt.

At checkout,to complete your order,you will be asked to agree to our terms and conditons.We cannot process your order if you do not agree to our terms and conditions regarding postage fees etc.

The stock quantities on this site are manually updated.
If for some reason the item you have ordered is out of stock,you will be notified by email.

Returns/Refunds

For Faulty Goods

For faulty/damaged goods,we require the item to be returned in it's orginal packaging for inspection.Please note that A Simpler Time reserve the right to refuse refunds for goods that we find have been deliberately damaged
We reserve the right to demand returns to be sent back to A Simpler Time in the original packaging for inspection or we will ask you for photographic evidence to be emailed to us.
Due to all orders being sent in good faith as sound,complete and without fault,postage for outgoing goods will not be refunded.
For returns that are damaged/faulty,we will send a replacement of that item.If we do not have a replacement,a refund will be given.This refund will include the postage fees for the returned item only.
* We are to be notified by email within 7 days of receipt of the faulty/damaged item.

For Unwanted Goods

For items purchased that are not as you expected but without fault,we will refund the cost of the item only.The item/s are to be returned to us in new and unopened condition.We do not arrange collection.We suggest that the items are returned to us using Royal Mail Recorded Service for peace of mind.Once we have received the item/s,we will reimburse your PayPal account with the cost of the goods ONLY**.No outgoing or returning postage fees will be reimbursed.
**A Simpler Time reserve the right to refuse refund for any returned goods (due to an unwanted nature) if the items are returned in a used or unsaleable condition.We may ask for photographic evidence to support any refund/replacement claim.

Should you not receive a confirmation email within 24 hours,please assume that we have not received your email.

Please note that the majority of our products are made for a primitive look.This meaning the desired effect is worn and "unfinished"
We will NOT issue refunds for items that have "natural or deliberate" faults to give this desired effect
Our products are designed for decorative use only.Many of our products contain small parts that may come loose if they are "over-handled".Keep out of the reach of children and pets.
The majority of the products are produced for the U.S. market and therefore do not pass the strict EU standards set for products produced for the U.K. market.This being so,we at A Simpler Time do not take any responsibility for any damage caused by misuse.On purchasing any of our products,you,the customer must take responsibility for keeping the item/s out of the reach of children or where they may cause harm.
ELECTRICAL ITEMS-We advise all our customers to purchase one of our British made adaptors when purchasing one of electrical products.These work with the U.K. 240v electric system in changing the voltage down to the 110v requirements of our electrical products.We at A Simpler Time take no responsibility for any damage caused by voltage overload.

While we do not anticipate this to be the case with most of our customers, we,A Simpler Time U.K. reserves the right to refuse service or sale where we feel is appropriate.
